Thank you for your interest in Waterville Baptist Church!

Our purpose as a church is to exalt and worship the God of the Bible - to truly magnify the Lord with all of our hearts.  We seek to love one another so that the world will know that we are indeed disciples of Christ (John 13:35).  Our desire is that the gospel will continually transform our lives so that we might be more and more like our Savior, Jesus Christ.

Our emphasis in our corporate worship services is to promote a God-centered environment where the Bible is honored and taught.  As such, we promote an expositional (verse by verse) method of teaching and preaching.  By the grace of God, this prevents us from "getting on our soap box" and allows the Word of God to have free reign.  

Our desire is that this website would be a simple tool that might give you some idea of who God is and how He has changed our lives by His great grace.  To that end, we do not seek to promote ourselves but rather to promote our God.  To Him alone belongs glory and honor and praise!
